From the port and train stations:
Follow the road around the harbor on the south side and turn left at the 2as Merarchias (after gate E9) in Kolokotronis Street (third narrow) turn left.
Continue to come out in the Vasileos Georgiou Avenue and turn left at Notara street (an the store H & M) and you will find us at 50 meters on your left hand.
From the city center:
Βy buses No 040 (of the Sintagma square) & No 049 (from Omonoia) get off at the stop “Korai Square” opposite the Municipality of Piraeus.
The hotel is just two closely parallel to the side of the harbor. If you prefer the subway (metro line 1) you stop at the end of the line (Piraeus port) and follow the previous instructions.
From the highway:
Drive to the end that the Kifissos Avenue meets the beach and turn right towards Piraeus.
Pass the stadiums and after 1 km turn left at the sign “Piraeus center”.
Municipal Theatre (Korai square) turn right and the second street (Notara) turn left.

The neighborhood Achillion is located is called “Trouba”. In the mid 20th century it was the most infamous place in Athens-Piraeus. It was no more than a typical harbor bad-neighbor.
Drugs, prostitution, drunken sailors, street musicians, night clubs, corrupted police, murders and street fights was the “daily menu” in the area. Novels written, songs made even movies filmed to keep the history up today. Trouba eventually lost identity after 1970 and became civilized. Rich naval companies, new hotels, commercial stores established and the “bad” neighbor became a busy city with luxurious shops and coffee shops for the “good ladies and business men”.

Piraeus sightseeing
Piraeus is famous for the lovely harbors. At the top of the hill is the Prophet Elias church and the Veakeion open-air theatre.

The Municipal Theatre is one of the most impressive neoclassical buildings of Piraeus. It came into life at the end of the 19th century and since then many famous Greek directors have presented their works there. Its layout is based on Odéon Théâtre de l'Europe in Paris.
